^ PS3 has come a long way.
2009 is going to be tough to top especially with all the great multi-platform & exclusive games, but I think 2010 will be the best year for PS3 yet. 2011 is going to seriously have have to pull out all of the stops to continue to raise the bar.
PS3: 2009 > 2008 > 2007 > 2006
Edit: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is currently slated for a September 29th 2009 release date.
