I was going to say yes, but I have to admit I bought the Wii in large part because of the 'promise' of Wii, ie. games like the Star Wars 1:1 lightsabre or a fantastic multiplayer FPS, and a lot of great local multiplayer games that almost anyone would enjoy (there have only been a few that have really met that idea for me, Mario Kart, WSR and World of Goo actually).
