BC or ps2, what's the difference?

i have 80gig so i'm happy but there's a lot of games that are glitchy or have framerate problems, mgs 3 gt4 etc. sony seem also stop updating BC, but it's better than no bc. Yes, upscaling does help. unlimited saves too.
