And just to add a little more, one of three things will happen with the next main FF game:
- They keep the same bar and the game still takes half a decade to make.
- They lower the bar and receive a giant backlash after comparison video after comparison video after comparison video.
- They "downgrade" to the Wii or DS.
One of those goes against his statement, two of those go with the statement, and one of those two won't happen. I'll leave it up to whoever cares to guess which is which.
