PS2 brought down a entire generation of video games aswell. The 360 is doing the same now because they dont want to hurt anyone's feelings. If the 360 was a big failure then they might not care but as it is it will probably be 50% of their buyers and they don't want to get an inferior version. They might skip buying the game all together because of it. Luckily no fanboy has a right to complain about this because it was the other way around last gen.
