sony has very strict policies in regards to which of their products you must sell and maximum price points. a friend of mine worked at a local electronics store and the manager pulled sony's dvd players for some reason, so they revoked his authorised dealer status and stopped sending him any new product. this was 5 yrs ago, but still, i doubt it's changed much.
