If you read it one way it imples Live is superior since Sony admitting they were late to the party implies they are still catching up - hence the other must still be ahead and therefore 'superior'

Clearly this is the natural line for 360 fanatics.

Another way to read it is that Sony started later and is catching up and that, therefore, PSN is not inferior but is just 'younger' and that, relative to each services' maturity, is equal adjusted for time in market.

I don't see any open admission of 'inferior / superior' but accept it is implied in the context and tone. The context and tone also implies to me that he feels Sony is catching up quite acceptably, and that he wants people to put PSN vs Live in context to market maturity rather than one being superior.
