@HideoK: Does it matter if u get hit in shock and awe or do u have to get the dark knight bonus to have a chance of getting 30000?

Edit: Shock and awe (extreme) that is

At least don't get hit on the first 2 levels and try not to break your freeflow combo on the first 2 either. I would restart if I messed up on the 1st or 2nd round. Thats an extra 4000 points you'd miss out on right there. Plus I would restart if I messed up the 9x variation 5000 point bonus. Thats a total of 14,000 bonus points I would miss out on if I messed any one of those three things up on the first 2 rounds. I wouldn't allow myself to continue then.

I would usually post between 12,000- to my best score 17,000 in the first round by getting the 9x variation. I would do the 9x variation again in round 2. Second round would usually get me up to 22,000- 27,000 so I'd be in very good shape to not have to worry about variation bonuses anymore and just concentrate on countering every attack and keeping my combo going for rounds 3 & 4.

I cleared it with 9,000 extra points over 30,000 so you do have some room to miss more on variations or the dark knight bonus I suppose.

In round 3 & 4 make sure to throw enemies over the ledge and use the unbreakable grapple ( triangle + circle) to take them out faster than regular attacks would each time you reach a 5x combo. Thats my best advice. This was the hardest challenge for me. I restarted over 100 times. Perhaps I should have tried to finish the full round more often than restarting in the first 2 rounds if I made one mistake, but I always wanted to get off to a really good start to allow room for mistakes in the harder final 2 rounds. Biggest problem for me was I would only cleared the 4th round twice due to the time expiring.
