That's as close to an acknowledgement that a competitor's produt is better than you can expect. The excerpt certainly acknowledged that XBox1's Live service created the online standard for consoles. And in that respect PSN had to emulate that standard if it wanted to offer a competitive service. However I read nothing in that excerpt to suggest there is an admission by Sony that 360 Live is superior to PSN. If the excerpt is meant to be the big admission then the OP is wrong in their interpretation. If there is another part of the interview where there is a more explicit admission then I suggest you quote that.

This thread is not about whether XBL or PSN is superior, it's a thread about a Sony exec admitting XBL is superior (or not, as it appears to be in fact). So keep it on topic a bit instead of just positng "XBL is superior", or "PSN is just as good now". I've never used Live so I have no idea, so I'll take the majority opinion of people who have used both, which seems to favour XBL.
