Well, they were also getting their asses kicked with a $399 PS3 but were forced to cut prices or suffer an even bigger beating over the holidays. I think this vicious cycle will only continue. I predict more and more price cuts until we see them handing out free PS3s by New Year's, and they'll be paying consumers $50 to take a PS3 by no later than April 2010.
