They've announced new hardware at 2 different events so far this year but then again, it might take away from PSP Go sales. Of course if the PSP-4000 is a cheaper model and the PSPGo is more for people who want a digital system then I could see both doing decent on the market...I dunno. It's a 50/50 chance of it getting announced there imo. |
They won't reveal it at TGS - it would endanger GO sales. Even though it's 2 months before the JP launch, PSP Go models are already at the top of the Amazon.co.jp chart - http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/bestsellers/videogames/ref=pd_dp_ts_vg_1
Now that never happened with PSP-3000, in fact I think it was only once in the top 20...for a day. I suspect (just like PS3 Slim), PSP-4000 will be built in 45nm, and cheaper. Announcing it before the PSP GO launch would be hugely detrimental IMO.
