Amazon Japan is usually good indicator of JP HW interest. To make things funnier, the thing launches on November 1 in Japan, and will probably be completely sold out... On the other hand, it launches in less than a month here in the west, and it's not even in the top 100 IIRC.
I'm not all that surprised considering PSP HW sales dropped big time in Japan, so obviously there was a reason behind it. Could it be because it's very small and light, Japanese love gadgets like that?
