Having a 1 year break every now and then would not make up for it in the end because eventually your days off would run out and you'd be back to eternal hell. Eternity has no beginning or end, so even if you got 100 years after dying that you didn't have to suffer, you'd just be delaying the inevitable. I'd say no because why would I ever want to purposely make other people suffer for my own false security? |
Well, what if you could tempt people forever and never have to suffer?

Well that would have to rely on the longevity of the earth. If we are going by Chrisitan belief, the world will eventually end, so then at that point there would be no more people to tempt and thus you would still eventually begin your damnation and have to suffer it eternally.

But it also says God is going to create new heavens and earth after this one is destroyed. Thus, still people to tempt.
But then again those people will be immortal and saved by christ according to the standard interpretation of the bible.
