Dems controlled VA until the late 60s. VA is the leading (or in the top ten) state with Fortune 100 corps, tech, NAVY, low unemployment, etc. Redneck is a BS term. No, what I was referring to is how NJ and VA went red in 93 and the GOP took back both the Senate in the House in 94.
