I'd buy Killzone 1 if they vamped up the visuals, ran it at 1280x720 native render/60fps, etc. even though the game was just not fun IMO. Maybe if they tweaked the play mechanics a bit as well.
I ended up watching all the cut scenes on YouTube to see the story rather than play through the game.
