The YLOD can be caused by a power supply failure, something that can happen in an instant. I dont have a complete list of things that cause YLOD, but you can google it. Shoot me a PM if you need any info on fixing the thing(if thats the route you are going), I know how to do/have links to how to fix different PS3 symptoms.
Im afraid mine is going to kick the bucket soon, my roomies(who do NOT own PS3's) bought Batman AA cause of the Joker and are playing the hell out of it. Today while playing the game got really choppy....so Im a bit concerned. I had him turn it off for a few minutes, and its not happening, I hope its just a glitch or at worst a problem with the HDD.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
