Sony's plan to ween the faithful away from the PS2.
you get the good PS2 games at decent price on PS3
It shouldn't cost more than an easy port
even if only the core of core are interested about 500k sold for each would still bring a healthy profit.
They can point to these when people whine about their favorite PS2 games not being playable on PS3.
I'd like one for:
Ico/Sotc
Zone of the Enders 1 and 2 (release a third Kojima or order at least a reprint of the 2nd.)
Jak series (before 4)
Jet Moto (along with 4 finally)
Twisted Metal (before 5)
Dark Cloud (before 3)
Eye Toy games
MediEvil series (Before 3)
Ultimate Singstar (so i don't have to swap so many god damned discs)
Syphon (Filter Before 5)
SOCOM
Sly
