Looking for an online shooter.

hey guys, I'm looking for a PSN shooter, I'm not sure which to get. I don't want killzone 2 because I am not paying 68$ for an online shooter since that's way too high.

That being said,

I'm considering

SOCOM: Confrontation (29.99)

or

Battlefield: 1943 (14.99)

I know Socom was aparently unplayable at launch, but how is it now?
