Thanks for the info, I have done a little more looking and so far I haven't seen a Sony TV that is 720p with a refresh rate of 120hz, they are all 60hz. Would the 120hz upgrade be useless on a 32" tv? I wouldn't think so.
And @1080p on 32", so there won't be ANY difference in the picture at all on a 32" between 720p and 1080p?
EDIT: I saw this tv before but I went browsing on the sonystyle website to find the specs I was looking for and I found this tv
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665746294#specifications
From reading some articles I was under the impression that if a tv had the 24p True Cinema feature then it was 120hz, hovever
this tv is 24p and it doesn't specify what refresh rate it has, but it does say this "CineMotion® Reverse 3:2 Pulldown Technology : Yes"
So I'm guessing this tv doesn't have the better picture ratio..
But then I look on the overview of the TV and theres this paragraph:
"24p True Cinema™
24p True Cinema mode provides a direct connection to 24p video sources, avoiding conversions and allowing users to enjoy films at their intended 24 fps (frames per second) cinematic picture quality when using a 24p-capable output device, such as a Blu-ray Disc™ player or PLAYSTATION®3 entertainment system."
Which rubs off that it uses the correct format that the bluray supports. What the hell? So is this TV the right quality or not?
