FF6 (FF3 on SNES) is by far the best Final Fantasy game

I agree, I just finished it this morning. So many amazing characters and such a great combat/magic system. I love how every charcaters has a distinct comabt style that not only matches their class but their character. Not like some of the later editions.

I had finished replaying it a few months back (Jan or Feb), and it really has fantastic characters.  Although with lots of prior knowledge of the game (cursed shield), the final Kefka battle was easier than I remember.  Even after my 4th or 5th playthrough, it was the first time I ever saw all of Shadow's backstory.
