All that your above post proves is the entrepreneurial mind in Kutaragi. Nintendo and Sega weren't exactly innocents either, basically all the companies were in a bitch fight, Kutaragi got all the ideas together (alot of which were not his) and used them to help create something superior (in many eyes) to the competition. He was faster and smarter back then, he used all the resources available to him and went off, made himself fortune and fame aswell as taking gaming to a better place. You're argument is like saying The Wii's creator has not been important of influencial in the industry because 'Joe Bloggs' was the first to create motion controls. My main points also still stand:
- He is responsible for the Playstation Brand (Extremely important and influencial for the industry)
- Therefore he is partly responsible for making gaming less goofy and more mainstream ('''')
- Therefore he is partly responsible for a ton of fantastic games ('''')
- He is partly responsible for taking gaming to the next level ('''')
You also try and make out that the man is thick in your post, I assure you, he wasn't exactly in the crayon class, along with most other top employees at Sony (although they act it sometimes).
