Sony is back! PS3 seems to be a much better value than Xbox 360 after all.

For the record, Its been a long time that I created a thread and I do not intend to flame or something. PS3 slim is what I have been expecting from sony, and I just wanted to hear people's honest and serious opinions please. No fanboy stuff.

I have been criticizing Sony a lot, but PS3 slim is a very good move in the right direction. It should have been the launch console.

Nintendo, by the way, is the ultimate company in terms of console design, compactness, cuteness, and efficiency. Gamecube, for example was more powerfull than ps2 but GC was still more compact and efficient, and way smaller than xbox although had a similar capacity.

Also N64 was the strongest one of 3 consoles (Ps, Saturn, n64), but again was very compact, sleek, and efficient. This is why sony should learn from Nintendo. As long as you have the powerful first party software houses and brand recognition, you should lean on the efficiency and design, rather than power.
