Using a strategy guide: Does it ruin the game experience?

Well to be honest....RPG's wasn't my favorite genre to begin with. I would play it for 2 hours and shut the game off. And won't touch that RPG in month's. Its just I prefer RPG's that grabs my attention. Kingdom Hearts was a game where I didn't need a strategy guide. It was normal and I even beaten it on Proud Mode. So I prefer games like that. Final Fantasy X or XII I really prefer a strategy guide. So I'm going to try the game out with it. I don't look to far down the strategy guide to see what happens. But I use it because I know I will get lost or stuck somewhere.

So your problem is you generally don't LONG RPGs with those crazy puzzles and bosses, right? Personally, I'll take those over any game any day. Btw, do you have a GC? If you do, I HIGHLY recommend you pick it up (unless you already have it). The puzzles are (generally) not TOO hard, and the game is made of pure win. Funny thing is... NO ONE HATES IT! Yep, ToS is a PERFECT game. I have NEVER EVER heard from someone who has PLAYED it they didn't like it. Ever. It's 100% perfect. And what's your favorite genre?

Well I don't have a Gamecube, and besides its just my attention span for RPG's are rather limited. If I have a strategy guide I can get past the game quicker and easier.

My favorite genre is FPS and Sports and some RPG's. Thats why the 360 fits my preference for gaming.
