I don't know, maybe I just don't see it the same way because I live in a country which essentially told America to fuck off but I don't think America really has a huge amount of political clout outside of its own borders. Also I agree America is likely to have a graceful fall (or even not a fall at all as such, just other countries catching it up) - just nothing like Britain's one as they are two very very different types of super-power. |
