Think Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft will buy a third-party company at some point?

Nintendo should spend that money to develop and diversify its own talent pool. 

Having a developer team that can produce a Super Mario Galaxy quality game for the Wii or the like is dangerous.  Having 20 of them is Win.
