Well, I dont know about the physics behind either, but, If i connect my laptop computer or desktop computer upside down (or so to speak) it will give me small electrical shocks if I touch specific computer parts, like the corners on the cabinet or some multimedia card slot , it is otherwise solved by switching the side it is connected to the electrical current.
