I wouldn't count Wii Fit as a gaming peripheral. It tapped into the huge market for fitness/losing weight - nothing to do with games peripheral.
Personally, while Natal by design will have the most hype I see it as the least useful for gameplay - the lack of a controller is a huge weakness IHMO. The attraction of the Wii and the Wii Mote we know already. Sony Wand we'll have to wait and see - for games I see it as better than Natal but I think it runs the usual Sony peripheral risk of being marginalised next to the console itself.
Still, by this time next year we might have the first period of sales data on each of the new motion control enterants and things will be clearer.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
