Its kind of funny how you assume that JRPG's are in decline in america just because they are on a certain platform... it makes me laugh.

Nope the real reason they never broke a million is because NO ONE GIVES 2 SHITS ABOUT JRPG's ANYMORE PERIOD. They are dead in the water and there very last chance for servival is FFXIII. If that game does not sell 3+million the first 2 months, you can count JRPG's dead like side scrolling shooters.

I still love them, and I know some other people that still buy every single one. The hard sad fact remains that the majority of the gaming public has moved on.

Now I did like you facts about both titles being near compleation at the same time, and the fact that most of america saw a running 360 demo before anything on PS3, it makes my head explode. It just goes to show you that you should never ever trust the companys that makes games till you see it for yourself.
