You guys thought this game was hard? I guess it is above average, but not what I would define as hard. Also I hate games where you can just grind for a few hours and then beat a boss. I like my games to have a strategy to them, and you win because you thought it out in an intelligent way, not because you wasted 3hrs fighting weak enemies. I also hate the level with you aspect too. It is just as bad. I think a good way of balancing things out is having a few enemies that occur in an area early on level wise, and then NEW enemies that are a little tougher. Everything stays the same level though.
