It is relevant. You have no right to tell people who they should or shouldn't be allowed to marry. I've been dating the same guy for 3 years, and I cannot legally make a commitment yet some drunken whore and her boyfriend of 2 weeks can go get married? That's not justified at all.
Yes. The system is not perfect, but from what I know marriage is a religious tradition. It would taint it to have gay marriage.

No no no nasty wasn't the whole point about the thread. Homosexuality in general is wrong imo. I'm prepared bring it on. Well I care because its around us. So i don't want to be ignorant about it. That would cause some problems. Understandable. But then again, the bible is always open to interpretation and everyone in the world is a sinner/has sinned at some point in their existance.
Every one is a sinner. Agreed. But there are just some things that you are not supposed to die with. I'm no priest, but if you have accepted Jesus in your heart as your savior and that he died for you, and you have baptised because he has commanded it, sinning knowingfully and and not confessing it, is just bad enough.

Apparently you didn't have a choice because you "chose" to be heterosexual at birth, despite not knowing what homosexual or heterosexual was whenever you were a baby. Hell, I didn't know I was gay until I was an early teenager. I knew I liked guys. I didn't know exactly what any of that meant until I started getting called "fag" because I had never had a girlfriend at the time didn't exactly help my choice. I tried dating girls but they just didn't work for me.
I answered this one in a post above me. He kinda got me though. Whether we are born gay or not is not 100% know, so the point I was trying to get across is he saying we don't have a choice when it could be possible that we do.

The ironic thing about your statement is that marriage is a legal document. While religion can be tossed into law, that doesn't mean it has anything to really do with religious traditions. It's also strange that mariage has been around since the Greek and Roman times, yet you are throwing it in with a "Christian Tradition," which Christianity didn't really arise until AFTER the B.C. era ended.

Answer - Unfortunately, man is sinful, but remember, in my religion being gay is a sin so I believe that both the killer and the victim have sinned.

No. Of course I cannot judge that because GOD told us not to judge anyone, but in the end they have both sinned and turned against GOD.

He's referring to heterosexuals in general. You don't think that gay people should be able to fight for their rights? I don't understand that. Black people are allowed to fight for something they believe in. Women are allowed to fight for something they believe in. I don't see your point in being rude about it. Just because you aren't white, doesn't mean you should criticize somebody for their beliefs. And yes, posting a long winded thread about why you don't like homosexual acts IS criticizing somebodys beliefs. He didn't say you're wrong for being a heterosexual. In fact, I highly doubt anybody has. So why do you feel the need to criticize homosexuals?
They do fight for their rights. Im just stating my opinion on the matter. I wasn't being rude. Read my first post. About the not being white, I was just fooling around I knew what he was saying. Ok, I am criticizing people's beliefs, well at least most of us are old and mature enough to talk about it in some manner. I'm not criticizing the people themselves. They are probably good people. I'm criticizing homosexuality in general.
