Ireland is more conservative than New York, more traditional and in the rural areas, far more judgemental than somewhere cosmopolitan than New York. I think, to be fair, the amount of gay people will not vary based on nationhood. Their likelihood to do it in public is subject to culture and tolerance. And Dtewi picked out the parts that were factually weak. That is there were no facts, only statements of opinion backed up with no evidence other than what you are subjectively perceiving. If you cannot tolerate the public kissing of gay people then you are going to notice it. I have to say I don't tend to notice gay people snogging very often. I do, however, see and remember gay couples holding hands in the street and even kissing goodbye. This, however, is merely a series of observations and does not allow me to claim factual knowledge about the gay community. |
No, thats not what I meant, you know what I mean. And I can tolerate homosexual kissing in public, it's just they always seem to do it in their 'Im gay and Im proud fashion' when I am about, it's like they are making a public statement. I have no issues with seeing two blokes doing what you just described, and my factual evidence is what I have witnessed in my lifetime. That's factual evidence for me, I'm just telling you of it and you can make what you want of it.
