Its a pretty good game. It doesn't exactly excel at any one certain thing, but its very solid overall.
The only thing that bugs me is ND releasing UC2 when they could have used that time to make a new J&D. I know this is a very selfish opinion, but DAMMIT I WANT ANOTHER JACK AND DAXTER!!
