^ But it's on the PC where you can't play any online game out there for free.

Strikes me as odd that thats acceptable but on a console it's not. Seems to me that's bullshit. Or is it just fanboy nonsense that on a 360 its not and if Sony had done this it would be fine.

What are you talking about? I have been playing my PC games for free all my life. With the new exceptions such as WoW and others ( which are entirely online games).

Exactly Wow and the such. There are free alternatives to them yet people still chose to pay to play and thats fine.

To most people it's paying every month to play just one game? It's the ones who actually play it that understand why they pay. Same here.

I put this down to fanboys. Remember Sony fans attitude to the 360 getting DLC and having to pay for it a few years ago (I expect a no here) then when the PS3 starting doing the same it was fine. I guarantee if Sony started charging there would be uproar but as with all changes it would quiet down and be fine. People would pay. I haven't heard people complaining about having to buy the kit just to talk over the Wii which seems like a rip-off.

It's purely because it's not on their console of choice more than any real outrage. Or are 360 owners  who pay (some who own PS3 and Wii yet still pay) somehow different to all the gamers ever?

PS owners pay for qore. But enough of the competitors to illustrate that it's not a requirement. There are enough free alternatives and the demos on there become available to everyone later so why pay for it? The 360 has it's own version that is free. Most of the people outraged (who don't even have the console to be in a position to pay anyway) would pay if they had to.
Fact is people are paying for stuff that should be free on all consoles and the PC.
