No doubt it will be a good game, but they are still only playing catchup with GT5

You're right, better to make the game less accessable to people.  After all, why try to expand your audience and potential sales?  It's just lame.

You must work in marketting.

Here's a tip though, the game doesn't rewind on it's own, you need to press a button to do it.   If you don't want to be lame, just say no to the button.

But its so hard to say no! :(
