This is incorrect... the term "enhanced definition" was created to describe digital TVs that can run at 480p instead of 480i. 720p and 1080i/p refer to high-definition standards that have been established to create conformity in the HDTV/HD-broadcasting industries. The thread title would have more accurately been written "Killzone 2 is the most sold FPS that runs at a STANDARD HD resolution?", or "Killzone 2 is the most sold FPS that runs at a TRUE HD resolution?". But you can't accurately state that anything over 480p is enhanced definition, or that it isn't a non-standard HD resolution.

Much of Killzone 2 is rendered at 720p, but there are several aspects of the graphics, such as particle effects, which are rendered at a lower resolution and then upscaled. This is confirmed here:

So, if you want to get REALLY picky about what constitutes an HD game, then Killzone 2 doesn't really cut the mustard either. Remember, what goes around, comes around.
