Does european ps3 support 110w to 240w ?

I tried my cousin's 40GB PAL PS3 on a 110volts circuit (with out even knowing) and played MGS1 with out any problems. After I discovered my mistake I plug it in a 220V line though, but I think the internal PSU accepts 100 - 240 volts, the slim's one anyway.
