You can't take the nonsense you read against a company you like too seriously. There are always people who don't like a company as big as MS. But I will say one thing, if you think MS is hated on this site, you should check out a few other forums first. They actually have a support base here, whereas there are certain forums where MS as a company is taken as a complete joke.
The same applies to Nintendo and Sony it really depends on the forums you regularly visit. I find VGC to be one of the best because it gives you a nice mix of support for all three. There is also the fact that the Xbox brand is the youngest one out of the three and has yet to completely dominate a generation.
