Actually, the gaming press was really down on Nintendo. Articles stated that the GameCube was a failure and that Nintendo should/would become a third party developer. This is how the press works. When a company is on top, the press cheers. If the company falls to the bottom the press jeers.
If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
