Why do people buy multiple identical consoles?

That was the original premise for the movie "28 Days Later." After buying a gameboy color, 28 days later he had to upgrade to a GBA. Then he had to upgrade to an Afterburner light kit. Then he had to buy a GBA SP. Then a Nintendo DS. Then a DS Lite. *shivers*

This is why I have turned agianst nintendo. The Wii is just starting it for the home consoles.

You say it is starting it for the home consoles look at past playstations each edition had slimlines that were technologically identical with the only difference in size. For that reason you should hate sony in fact how about all the different colours of the PS2 you should hate all of those aswell to by your logic,  ooo i know what about the differences between the PS1 PS2 and PS3 well they are all games consoles and are therefore similar, do you hate them to?? I am yet to see a post where you do not attack Nintendo with no real reasoning behind your pathetic views
