In R2 you never really knew what was going on, whereas in the first you had every conflict and the events leading up to them detailed for you by the narrator. Killzone 2 also suffered the lack of a prevalent, overarching story. The detailed histories of the Killzone Universe on Killzone.com are quite impressive, but barely any of that made its way into the game. In the game it was mostly "OMG Helghast kill them!" |
That would be nice but if I was given a choice between the two, I'd take the first game's style of narration. However that is a good point, and I would like to see that. And have them make the main character seem like an actual human rather than a warmachine.
