You can't do that though... if it's in the logic that if it's affecting you, it's worthy of attention, and that if it's not affecting you, you shouldn't care about it, then why not tell those who care about the problems in Africa to drop it? If we're talking about what's important, isn't gay rights less important than global warming? Isn't global warming less important than nuclear disarment? Isn't nuclear disarment less important than creating an Earth defense system against giant meteors?
