I brought that up as well, but my impression was not that he found gay sex to be disgusting visually, but just the concept of it and that it broke the norm of a man and woman being together.
And I don't think any issue is worthless. It's all subjective, and your logic only creates an upward spiral or uttermost importance. Screw the town's problems, what about the nation's? What about the world's? Screw your daughter, what about all these women? Thinking in utilitarian term just kills the humanity in you.
We think about what we want, and it doesn't even have to be relevant to our daily lives.
