| lolita said: Plastic surgery is just everywhere because women are insecure and instead of appreciating their own original beauty, they want to look like someone else. It's sad but true. Even if I say this, more than once I thought of having surgery if I could. The fact is that I'm trying to understand people's acts about changing the appearence. Like people in Asia seem to like some white features while white people tend to tan because they like latino features? I'm not sure what it is but one thing I know is wouldn't it be boring if everyone looked the same? I just would like to appreciate the differences. Every race and colour has something others don't and that's what makes diversity great. Topic: They're very pretty, imo, and the fact that most don't seem to age fast or badly could make any women jealous. |
What's so wrong about wanting to change one's appearance? If it makes someone feel better about themselves, I say, why not let them? This can mean plastic surgery, working out, or whatever!
Of course, I'd say it's fine as long as it doesn't damage one's health... so nothing crazy like anorexia.
As for your second paragraph, I'm guessing many people can more easily appreciate what they don't have. For example, notice how the only two in this thread that find latinos overrated are the ones that live with them.
