If we're going by that it can be a third party developer, I find a FFVII remake much more plausible than KH3, since it goes much better by both the "familiar" comment and "massive upgrade" comment.
Actually, the massive upgrade is what makes me think it's going to be a continuation/remake of a PS1 classic, since I don't think that a continuation to a PS2 would be considered as a massive upgrade.
Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
