I don't agree with the headline.. i actually found FFXII to have the most average/realistic/typical-looking women yet in a FF (still good-looking though ;)).
The increase in detail in the later litterations might make it seem so though.

Yeah in FFX-2 it seemed so.. however, it suited the games style well (I think so at least) :P
