I'm gonna derail this thread just a little >_> .....

I've personally never played any GT but I definitely plan on getting this one. What are the chances of GT5 becoming an AAA title? I decided on not selling my ps3 so I'm gonna start showin it a little more love, but looking at Metacritic scores, it seems that the latest GT's don't look so hot......scores abit low.

search Gran Turismo again the lowest scoring "Full installment" GT(4) scored an 89, GT4 prologue scored a 70 difference of 19 points GT5 prologue scored an 80, GT5 should hit the 90's easily

I guess I was expecting a little more, seeing as GT is kinda viewed as the "mother of racing games". GRID was the first semi-realistic racer I played in years, and I loved all of it, but the lack of cars/tracks left me wanting more.

It feels like GT5 has been in development for ages now, and seeing how I always hear about the main guy being a "perfectionist", I'm hoping it'll be as massive as most people are expecting it to be.

Sales don't lie. And GT5 is going to be busting at the seams with content (1000 cars!)

10 million people don't buy GT because of hype alone. Hype can only carry a game so far. Awesomeness carries it the rest of the way.
