Well I used Wifi for my PC and noticed the delay and switched to power plugs and have not seen any since. I do not believe I fall into the super human category but latency is king in a FPS game and any advantage given away will punish.
The only way to tell if you will benefit is to try Wireless and Wired. The other issue is how many people live near you. Whereas this was not an issue when I first went Wifi I fired up search a network the other day and the thing was off the scale so popularity of Wifi locally will also be a factor.
