WiFi delay for online gaming?

I use wifi on PS3 and 360, and I used to play WoW via wifi on my laptop. All with no issues. Hell, I even get good quality from netflix streaming via wifi on my 360 and I'm using the old xbox 1 wifi adapter. Works perfectly.
