I say they'll have another game out a year later if it is successful. Just my perspective. It doesnt take a year to write a game like heavy rain. And they can develop the engine at the very same time. A lot of people are failing to fully understand the position these first/2nd party PS3 developers are going to be in. All of the games have been at least moderately successful, with built engines development costs are going to drop MASSIVELY and you're going to see more games because sony always promotes creativity and new games. When was the last time you heard sony cancel a game that was in development?

From every sony dev I can remember reading about or speaking with in person like david jaffe, it's really a wonderful experience. I bet we're going to see truck loads of 1st/2nd party content in the coming years with each studio working together with their own proprietary engines.

Quantic Dream has a 3 game contract and you can bet your asses they'll be ramping up their work with the engine out of the way.
