MacAskill releasing Megrahi doesn't make him, the SNP or Scotland as a nation compassionate.
11 Scots who died 20 years ago isn't a priority for him or the SNP.
Now if all/most of the victims families had appealed for his release they would have my upmost respect and THEY would be some of the most compassionate people I've ever heard of.
MacAskill 'forgiving' the mass murderer is like Woody Allen forgiving Hitler on behalf of the Holocaust victims.
